For walk in interview for recruitment to the post of

Contractual Specialists and Senior Residents

RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF FULL TIME CONTRACTUAL SPECIALIST/ PART TIME CONTRACTUAL SPECIAIST FOR A PERIOD OF THREE/ONE YEAR RESPECTIVELY AGAINST VACANT POSTS OF SPECIALISTS

 WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Applications are invited for full time contractual Specialists at ESIC Hospital, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, U.P., for a period of three (03) years with annual evaluation and term renewed every year based on satisfactory performance or till regular Specialists joins, whichever is earlier. However, if no eligible candidates are available against the vacant posts of specialists for full time contract basis, then any other candidate if present may be considered for part time contractual specialist for a period of one (01) year or till the engagement of full time contractual specialist or till regular specialist joins whichever is earlier, irrespective of category.

2.        SENIOR RESIDENTS ON CONTRACT BASIS FOR 1 YEAR AGAINST VACANT POSTS OF GDMOs


WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Applications are invited for recruitment of Senior Residents for one year on Contract basis against the vacant post of GDMOs or till regular GDMO joins, whichever is earlier. If no eligible candidates are available against the respective categories mentioned in the advertisement, then any other candidate (if present), may be considered for walk-in interview irrespective of category, for engaging Senior Residents for 39 days extendable by another 39 days. The details are as under: -




-: GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: -

1. Applicants having complete Bio-Data as per format uploaded on ESIC website along with duly affixed recent passport size photograph, one set of attested photocopies of testimonials (including MBBS & PG attempt certificate, 10th passing certificate as proof date of birth and SC/ST PH/OBC Certificate) and relevant documents including MCI/State registration certificate, may report to the office of the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Hospital, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, U.P.,  on the date of walk-in-interview at 9.00 a.m.  The verification of documents will be done upto 10.30 a.m with original certificate.
2.        Candidates belonging to UR/OBC category have to deposit a Demand Draft (non-refundable) of Rs.
300/- in favor of "ESI FUND ACCOUNT NO. 1" Payable at SBI, UP. SC/ST candidates have to deposit a Demand Draft (non-refundable) of Rs. 75/- , while PWD & Female candidates are exempted for payment of fee.

3. Candidate claiming reservation /age relaxation on ground of belonging to the OBC should submit the community certificate as  prescribed  by GOI,  DOPT  OM  No..36012/12/22/93-ESTT.(SCT) dated
08/09/93 which is modified by GOI DOPT OM NO. 36033/3/2004(Res.) dated 09/03/2004 and time to time failing which the benefit of reservation/relaxation will not be given or their application shall be rejected.  The OBC Certificate should be latest and not prior to one year from the date of interview.
4. Candidates suffering from 40% or more of the relevant disability shall only be eligible for the reservation for PH category. Certificate of disability from any Govt. hospital should be submitted at the time of interview.

5. Candidates for contractual posts of Senior Residents against vacant post of GDMOs may apply even if three years of Senior Residency have been completed.
6.        The candidates must be registered with MCI/State before joining the post, if selected.

7.        Candidates working in Govt. Service should produce NOC from their department at the time of interview.

8.        Other terms and conditions shall be as per Govt. of India rules.

Note:
•          No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
•          The candidates will have to make their own arrangement of stay.
The candidates must bring original documents for verification at 9.00 AM Sharp on the date of interview.
•          The number of posts may increase or decrease as per requirement and approval of Medical
Superintendent.
•          The Competent Authority reserves the right to fill up all or not to fill up any post. 


Special Terms and Conditions:

Terms and condition applicable to the full-time Contractual Specialist will be:

(i) Specialist shall be recruited for a period of 3 years with annual evaluation and term renewed every year based on satisfactory performance.
(ii)         Private practice will not be allowed.
(iii)        Available on call 24 x 7.
(iv)        The specialist shall be responsible for all cases undergoing treatment under his supervision in his discipline. (v)         He/she will be entitled for the leave @ 4 days for each month of work on pro rata basis in a calendar year.
In the event, the specialist prefers not to avail the leave, the same may be encashed to a maximum limit of
30 days/year.
(vi)        Age of specialist is up to 67 years.
(vii)       The selected specialist must have a professional indemnity policy which should cover the period as desired by ESIC in the bid. The policy is meant to cover professional liability falling on them as a result of error and omissions committed by them while rendering professional services. The minimum sum assured per annum should be (1) Rs. 30 lakhs for Anaesthesiologists, Cardiac Surgeon, Neuro Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons etc. (2) Rs. 20 lakhs for General Surgeons, Gynaecologist, Obstetrician etc. (3) for Physicians, Dentists, Radiologists, Pathologists etc. it should be at least of Rs. 10 lacs. A copy of the Insurance & Premium and receipt must be submitted within 7 days from the date of engagement.

Terms and conditions for part-time Contractual Specialists

(i)          Period of contract one year from date of joining.
(ii)         Minimum working hours will be 16 per week as per directions of MS. (iii)        He will not be entitled for any kind of leave or benefits.
(iv)        Available on call 24 x 7 if he will be drawing emergency call charges.
(v)         The specialist shall be responsible for all cases undergoing treatment under his supervision in his discipline. (vi)        Age of specialist is up to 67 years.
(vii)       The selected specialist must have a professional indemnity policy which should cover the period as desired by ESIC in the bid. The policy is meant to cover professional liability falling on them as a result of error and omissions committed by them while rendering professional services.
